The "JWH" Oregon Senior Citizens' Center is an excellent example of the warm community spirit alive in Oregon-on-the-Bay. The Senior Center was incorporated as a non-profit agency in March 1995 to support senior citizens’ independence and to encourage their involvement in the community.
The Center provides nutrition, referrals, education, socialization, transportation, volunteer programs, and many other activities for older adults in Oregon and surrounding communities. The Oregon Senior Center is the heart of our senior community. It is a place where friendships flourish, minds and bodies are nourished, and spirits are nurtured.
A sincere invitation is extended to seniors from all walks of life to participate at the Center. Community members are encouraged to support our seasoned citizens, whose commitment to the future generations have made life better.

A message to Our Community from the Oregon Senior Center.
The Oregon Senior Center is entering the final step of our reopening plan. The Center is open to the public from 9:00a.m to 2:00p.m. daily, Monday-Friday. The amount of participation will not be limited for most activities. Most inside activities have been phased back into our schedule. We offer Supportive Services, Transportation, Escorts, Frozen meals, Nutrition on-site Meals. Safety of our community is first and foremost, so washing hands, sanitizing, and social distancing is recommended.
Due to limitations, Acrylics class, Craft class and some special events will require reservations.
Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding.
These guidelines are not up for debate. We all look forward to the day we can fully re-open.
Thank you, The Oregon Senior Center
